At Winston-Salem State University the "Office of Distance Learning" administers several credit-bearing opportunities for North Carolinians to enhance their education. These opportunities include credit courses provided by Winston-Salem State University faculty to students who are place or time bound and cannot take advantage of on-campus offerings. Delivery methods include online programs and traditional face-to-face programs with faculty-led classes at Off-Campus sites, videotape, cable television, technology-assisted instruction including use of the Internet and interactive telecommunications, and other media.
