The AAS in CJ program will provide students with an understanding of the theories underlying the 3 main components of the CJ system: law enforcement; judicial systems; and correctional modalities within the context of social and political sciences. Methods and applications of these three areas will be emphasized throughout the coursework along with the intersections of their functions. The required general education coursework will further develop the students? critical thinking and problem solving skills, which will be enhanced throughout their technical coursework. Program graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions in a range of criminal justice positions including corrections officers, private security, protective services, and private investigator positions. They will also have the foundation to pursue further study in social science or legal coursework.
Health Care Management (Bachelor Degree)
The objective of the Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for entry level positions in health care administration. Its curriculum will have prepared the graduates with the knowledge and skills for entry-level management positions including, human resources, financial, data collection and analysis, planning, marketing, and other administrative/management functions within public, private and government health care industries. Students will provide evidence of competencies in communication, social sciences, humanities and fine arts, analytical and inferential reasoning and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one?s own.

Health Fitness Specialist (Associate Degree)
The HFS program will provide the student with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for entry level positions in the health, fitness and wellness industry, and to provide the student with the skills necessary for career advancement. This program provides a balance of specialized education and credentials for career placement and advancement with the development skills necessary for communication, teamwork, and critical thinking. This program will prepare the student for careers in public, private and government industries. Graduates will be employable in the areas of health club management, commercial fitness centers, personal training, fitness consulting, YMCA?s, corporate fitness/wellness centers, university wellness/adult fitness centers, municipal/city recreation/family centers, worksite health promotion organizations, and other health fitness related organizations.

This degree provides students with fundamental knowledge in the principles of computers including software development, database, networking and security. Students will also learn basic business principles. They select to specialize in either computer networking or software development. Students will provide evidence of competencies in communications, social sciences, humanities and fine arts. Analytical and inferential reasoning and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on ones own are also taught. This degree will prepare students for an entry level position in network support or software development.
