NAU's Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Management is an excellence choice for students who already hold degrees, diplomas or certificates in specialty areas, such as merchandising, dental hygiene, electronics, medical assisting, drafting, welding, or other vocational areas. Combined with our sound business and general education courses, this degree prepares graduates for advancement in management areas associated with their specialty fields. Two options are available in this program: (1) transfer of credit from the source of the specialty training, or (2) creation of a specialty area using National American University courses. Medical Assisting, A.A.S. (Associate Degree)

This program is designed to prepare qualified, caring and compassionate practical and registered nurses who demonstrate competence in providing quality care across the life-span. After the first year, you will receive a practical nursing diploma, and can request to test for licensure as a practical nurse. If you desire to do so, you may work for a year or longer as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and when timing is appropriate for you, return to the nursing program continuing your education to attain an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and be qualified for licensure as a Registered Nurse. However, if you wish to proceed without a break, you may elect to do so. For acceptance consideration, you must submit an application for each year of the ASN Mobility Program.
