Mission Statement
The mission of Ultimate Medical Academy is to improve the quality and increase the quality of allied and ancillary healthcare available in the community by providing the best health education and training available through an individualized curriculums that incorporate the latest, most effective concepts in the education and healthcare industries. Our guiding principles are to equip students with superior healthcare knowledge and skills within a positive learning environment to ensure commitment to a patient-centered care concept, and to collaborate with other healthcare and community organizations. The school envisions an ever-increasing role for allied and ancillary healthcare workers for the state of Florida in response to the growing and maturing population. Ultimate will be a key provider of focused, well-trained, highly motivated and critically needed healthcare workers, technicians and professionals. The campus will endeavorto prepare students for entry level employment in an environment that has a staff with good character, a high quality curriculum that promotes the value of education and a varity of teaching sources that enhance student knowledge by using technology to enhance instruction and expecting excellence from our students, staff, faculty, and administrators.

Degrees and Certifications
Basic X-Ray Program (Certificate Program)
Students learn to provide radiological support to physicians in doctors' offices, clinics and chiropractic centers. Course components include the fundamentals of radiological technology, anatomy, medical ethics, patient care, equipment and safety. Students receive a certificate upon completion and are eligible to sit for the DOH Bureau of Radiology BXMO Exam
Insurance Billing & Coding Specialist (Certificate Program)
Qualified Insurance Billing and Coding Specialists are in high demand at doctors? offices, hospitals and insurance companies. Our program teaches students how to complete, process and maintain the millions of health insurance claims these organizations and their patients file each year. Students learn the coding used to identify and label medical conditions and procedures and how to use medical billing software. Includes real-world experience at an off-site externship.
Medical/Clinical Laboratory Assistant Program (Certificate Program)
Training in administrative and clinical settings provides students the skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment. Course components include EKG, blood collection and ?waived? laboratory procedures, equipment use, collection and handling of specimens, safety, medical ethics, anatomy/physiology, medical terminology and training for Medical Manager responsibilities. Upon completion students are eligible to sit for the national certification exam.
Nursing Assistant (Certificate Program)
Nursing Assistants are in high demand and our seven week program prepares students to play a critical role in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and assisted-living facilities. Through classes and a hands-on clinical externship, students learn to respond to emergencies and provide routine care. This program is approved by the State Board of Nursing and prepares students for the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program Exam.
Patient Care Technician (Certificate Program)
This short term program trains students to work closely with doctors in a hospital setting. Students learn advanced procedures like phlebotomy and EKG along with day-to-day responsibilities such as monitoring patients? conditions and updating medical charts. Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) are in high demand and the program includes real-world experience at an area health care facility. Students graduate ready to begin a medical career in pre or post-operative care, pediatrics? or even the Emergency Room!
Phlebotomy Program (Certificate Program)
Provides students the training required to work as a phlebotomy technician in a medical office, clinic, laboratory or hospital. Course components include blood collection procedures, use of standard phlebotomy equipment, safety, ethics and medical terminology. Students receive a certificate upon completion and are qualified to take the National Health Career Certified Phlebotomy Technician Exam.
