This program can prepare students to enter into the criminal justice profession in a variety of first-tier positions. Students of the program are exposed to the foundational areas of the discipline: investigation and law enforcement, law and courts, and corrections and parole. The program also addresses the juvenile delinquency and the juvenile justice system. Students in the Criminal Justice program should be aware that additional education and/or experience may be required for employment in some positions.

The objective of this program is to provide students with the appropriate general education, theory, and hands-on-skills required to begin and/or enhance a career in healthcare administration. The purpose of the program is to provide the student with a broad base of knowledge that builds on a previously awarded associate's degree program in allied health; and also can provide the graduate with the specific skills necessary to work in a variety of business or healthcare settings such as: Assistant Department Head in larger hospital setting Assistant Adminiistrator in smaller hospital and nursing home setting Manager of Respiratory Care Nursing Manager Hospital Records Manager

Radiologic Technology (Associate Degree)
This program can provide students with a foundation in implementing radiographic procedures, radiation protection, and radiological physics, image production and evaluation of radiographs. These procedures are conducted in a caring, safe, effective, and legal manner. The student is expected to learn to work effectively with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families to promote patient diagnosis and recovery. The courses are designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs that may involve: Emergency procedures using energized radiographic units Positioning patients and processing film Patient interaction and vital sign administration Surgical asepsis Verbal and written communication with other healthcare professionals Upon successful completion of the program, the student is eligible to sit for The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist radiography examination. Registration or certification requirements for taking and passing exams are not controlled by the school but by outside agencies and are subject to change without notice to the school. The school cannot guarantee that graduates will be eligible to take certification exams, regardless of the eligibility status upon enrollment.

Surgical Technology (Associate Degree)
This exciting program can provide the students with entry-level skills to assist physicians in pre-operative and post-operative care of the surgical patient in an operating room environment. The comprehensive program is also well weighted with practical learning. Both day and evening programs include a full-time, unpaid clinical externship. The programs courses are designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs that may involve: Patient preparation and interaction Providing physical and emotional support to patients Operating sterilizers and diagnostic equipment Selecting and opening sterile supplies, such as drapes, sutures, sponges and surgical instruments Interacting with physicians, physician assistants, and other operating room personnel Surgical technologists, also called surgical or operating room technicians, typically work in hospital operating rooms, surgeons offices, delivery rooms, cast rooms, emergency departments, ambulatory care areas, surgi-centers and central supply departments. They help set up the operating room with surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile solutions. They also prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and disinfecting incision sites. They transport patients to the operating room, help position them on the operating table and cover them with sterile surgical --drapes--. Technologists also observe patients vital signs, check charts and helps the surgical team scrub and put on gloves, gowns and masks. Many surgical technologists are required to be --on call--.
