San Antonio College of Medical & Dental Assistants is one of the oldest private career schools in Texas that teaches allied health programs. The College began operating in San Antonio in 1966, preparing thousands of students for careers in allied health and business. In 1984, a branch campus was established in McAllen to serve the needs of students in southern Texas. In 1999, the College began teaching computer technology courses in order to meet the growing needs for skilled technicians in these fields.
