Since 1965 Okefenokee Tech has built a respected tradition of providing high quality technical and adult education and training services to meet the needs of the citizens of our community. Even though OTC has more than 2,000 students, the faculty and staff will take a personal interest in your education and will do everything possible to help you complete your course of study and meet your goals.
The quality of what we offer students and the community is reinforced by our partnerships with area businesses who, in turn, hire our graduates. These close relationships have resulted in a 99% placement rate for OTC graduates. In addition, OTC’s programs match Governor Purdue’s Strategic Industries for Georgia. When you graduate from OTC, you will be prepared to launch your professional technical career anywhere that you may want to go.
Students are at the core of all that goes on at the college. Every experience on the campus is designed to support them, from career advisement to job placement. Expertly trained faculty and staff work to ensure that students have the support and access to state-of-the-art equipment and training that will lead to success in the workplace.
Okefenokee Technical College is located at the intersection of Carswell Avenue and George Street at the west city limits of Waycross, Georgia. Waycross, and this corner of southeast Georgia, is the home of the Okefenokee Swamp and Pogo. The area boasts wonderful fishing, hunting, and beautiful pines and camellias.
