Mission Statement
The Arecibo Campus, as a part of the Inter American University of Puerto Rico System, promotes the development and integral formation of the student, developing humanistic, and Christian values; and social, scientific, and technological knowledge which will allow them to face the social and personal reality in a critical and creative manner. This academic unit affirms itself as primarily dedicated to the teaching and learning process, to stimulate the development of new knowledge, and to offer community service.
The educational mission of the Arecibo Campus proposes to offer academic programs in natural sciences and technology, the health-allied professions, education, and economic and administrative sciences throough degree programs offerings Masters, Bachelors, and Associate Degrees. The Mission of the Arecibo Camus emphasizes the development of scientific and technological programs, and sciences and professions related to health, and business administration. The practical experience in the specialized laboratories, the supervised practice in the world of work, and the research throughout in the curriculum will characterize the educational experience of the students of the Arecibo Campus.
