Mission Statement
MCI believes education is a continuous process of learning that results in changes in behavior. MCI offers individual students opportunities for development of self-identity and survival skills within today's society. The Institute believes in helping students to help themselves by assisting them to attain skills necessary for success in the professional world.
The school's objectives are:
1. To develop, through instruction, productive individuals with social and professional ethics.
2. To prepare students with entry-level job skills for their chosen fields.
3. To build poise and self-confidence to enable students to function effectively in the work place; and
4. To equip students with job search and interview skills necessary to compete for desirable positions in their chosen fields.

Our Dental Assisting program provides graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as Dental Assistants. Dental Assistants are educated in clinical, radiographic, and administrative procedures.
Massage Therapy (Associate Degree)
Healthcare is one of the economy's fastest growing sectors. If you like helping people, then experience the rewards of caring by entering one of healthcare's more-satisfying professions. The goal of the Massage Therapy program is to prepare students for an entry-level career in therapeutic massage as a Licensed Massage Therapist (North Carolina) or a Certified Massage Therapist (Virginia).
Medical Assisting (Associate Degree)
The Medical Assisting program prepares students with the knowledge, technical skills, computer proficiency, and work habits necessary for entry-level employment in various healthcare positions. Students gain proficiency in both administrative and clinical skills through interactive and "hands-on" learning including a "real world" externship experience.

The Medical Radiography program offers potential candidates the opportunity to complete an Associates of Applied Science degree in Medical Radiography. This program serves as a means to address the current and future shortage of Radiologic Technologists, R.T. (R) in Virginia and nationally to meet society?s need for increased numbers of highly skilled and knowledgeable Radiographer professionals.
