The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP) is one of eight seminaries associated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), located in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA). It was founded in 1864 but traces its roots further back to the first Lutheran establishment in Philadelphia founded by Henry Melchior Muhlenberg in 1748.. The seminary offers degree courses for a Master of Divinity (M.Div.), a Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), a Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.), a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), and a Doctor of Theology (Th.D.). It has an enrollment of 420, with a full-time equivalent enrollment of 239. It has 20 full-time and 11 part-time faculty members. The President of LTSP is The Rev. Dr. Philip D. W. Krey.

The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, a school of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is committed to preparing ordained and lay ministers of the Word as leaders for the mission of the Church in the world.
This seminary, a community centered in the gospel, assists persons:
1) To understand more fully the triune God revealed in Jesus Christ;
2) To grow in the trust of God within the Christian community by the power of the Holy Spirit; and
3) To articulate the content of the faith and to witness to the gospel in word and deed.
