College Profile: Tabor College
In the middle of everywhere, Tabor is a place where you belong. Tabor is where your educational experience is in harmony with you – both personally and professionally. Find out how the Christian liberal arts education Tabor offers will prepare you for your life’s work.
Tabor College is a wonderful place. Students are challenged by the academic rigor of the classroom, have opportunity to participate in athletics and the arts, and engage in transformative student life experiences. Our graduates understand that life is more than a job, but rather a vocation with a mission to serve and make the world a better place. Our alumni are scattered through out the world serving in positions of influence and high capacity. They are making the world more like God intended it to be infusing it with the values of the eternal.
Our Mission is to prepare people for a life of learning, work, and service for Christ and His kingdom.
Tabor College employs approximately 140 faculty and staff. Tabor also employs about 145 student workers to help with various tasks around campus.
There were 468 students enrolled at the Tabor College Hillsboro campus for the Fall 2007 semester. Total headcount, including Tabor College School of Adult and Graduate Studies in Wichita, was 599.
Life at Tabor is about exploring your faith and who you are in a decidedly Christian environment. And all of us here at Tabor, from the faculty to the student body, believe in all that is Tabor. We know what you want. You want to be part of something you really believe in – academically, spiritually, and socially. With that said, we’ve established a framework to help guide you as you grow. Students are encouraged to celebrate and discover who they are through various groups and activities, including Bible studies, residence hall fun, chapel, and special events planned throughout the year. Tabor is designed for the way you like to live, and the way you like to worship. It’s about your journey – let us be your guide.
