Brown College serves a single purpose: to prepare our students for the professional positions they will assume after graduation.
HISTORY & DISTINCTION
• Founded 1972 by Forrest M. Brown, a professional court reporter
• Created Brown College to produce highly skilled court reporters
• Expanded into CART/Captioning to meet industry demands for live captioning
• Initiated Medical Transcription classes in Georgia
• Accredited, certified, licensed, highly-regarded

Brown College of Court Reporting is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE). Our court reporting program is certified by the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). Brown College of Court Reporting is authorized under the Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Institutes Act of 1990 and is affiliated with the National Verbatim Reporters Association (NVRA).
